Sock Creature

Here is my newest sock creature. I was aiming for monster. Then as I was putting it together, I aimed for funny dressed kid. Then the thought turned into alien. It didn't turn out as any of those. Instead, combining the thoughts of myself, my husband and our 4 year old daughter, it is a Clown Wizard Squid.

Whatever you want to call it, I had fun making him. And Josephine just loves this thing. She took one look and fell in love. So needless to say, she has stolen him from me.

This monster was created using 3 different socks. So now, I have 3 socks with no match. Which means I can create another creature using those up but not look like this one. Might try that tomorrow. We'll see.

Double Layer Tutu

So tutus are something I am obsessed with. If I had the funds, my entire house would be filled with them. Take a look at this first ever attempt at a double layer tutu. This one was made to be distinct. The layers were meant to be visible. This one is created using the colors citrus green and purple. I think they make a great combination for anytime, or perhaps a Tinkerbell theme.

A New Beginning

I think it's time I find other places to show off my work. Please note, I am no one special. I am simply a stay at home mom. I swear at times, I feel as though I have adult onset ADHD. I feel I must always be working on something.

I will do my best to keep everyone updated on my newest projects. Right now, I have several that are complete and will share one a day. It could be a tutu, headband, necklace charm/pendant, sock monkey or sock monster. There's just no telling what I'll have completed.

I hope you enjoy what you see. Feel free to leave me a comment on any of my posts.
